What is the Celeratec eProActive Network?
Basically, the Celeratec eProActive Network is a managed service plan. Think of us as your IT Department. When you join the Celeratec eProActive Network, you become a part of our large maintenance and management system encompassing hundreds of machine. Once in the network, we can design, implement, manage, upgrade and maintain your entire technology infrastructure, provide you with detailed reports and react quickly to issues.When you sign up for a Celeratec eProActive plan, we:
1. Provide ongoing proactive maintenance of your systems.2. Provide your company with priority over our non-eProActive clients.
3. Provide your company with a discounted rate for service not covered by your plan.
Once we have installed the Celeratec eProActive Client onto your machines, our technicians can provide instant remote support to any machine. In addition to being able to provide your company with remote support at a moment's notice, the eProActive client software also performs constant proactive maintenance and monitoring on your systems thus preventing any unnecessary problems. In the event that a problem is detected, a technician will connect to your system remotely and resolve the issue before it becomes a major outage.
Broadly speaking, we manage everything related to your desktop, network and server infrastructure. Our system does specialized SQL database monitoring, e-mail protection and management, network management, server maintenance, desktop support, performance monitoring, patch management, anti-virus updating, automated spy-ware removal, software deployment and much more.

Advanced Patch Management.
We have noticed a trend in recent years by major vendors to release updates and patches without fully testing them, often leading to downtime and related service requests following a nightly automatic update. Our Network Operations Center now provides a list of White-listed and Black-listed patches (Critical security patches for Microsoft OS and applications) after conducting Internet research and testing patches on test machines.Depending on the testing and research, patches are qualified as white-listed if they cause no unwanted side effects and are suitable for deployment, black-listed if they have known issues and should not be deployed or conditional black-listed if they have known issues when specific criteria is met and should only be deployed when that criteria is not present on the current system. Our software then applies the white-listed and conditional patches automatically, thus virtually eliminating major issues caused by bad system updates and patches. This service is included in all levels of our eProActive plan.

Celeratec eProBackup is a service that allows clients to backup their data to our servers using special software. The benefits include:1. Off-site storage of data - If your office burns down, your data is still safe in our facility.
2. No Hardware Costs - You do not need to buy a tape backup and external hard drive system and there are not tapes to change or replace. Enterprise Version hardware is included in the price.
3. Automated - You set the backup and forget it. The system will automatically perform the backups and alert you to any issues with daily or monthly reports.
